Scripture
Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Worship Time
Choose a worship song that helps you slow down and release control. Some options: “Be Still” (Hillsong), “Here Again” (Elevation), or “Never Lost” (CeCe Winans).
As it plays, don’t rush to pray or think—just breathe.
Whisper one phrase of worship over and over: “You are God, and I trust You.”
Let your spirit soften in His presence.
Reflection
Stillness is one of the hardest parts of waiting. Our instinct is to move, fix, or settle just to feel like something is happening. But God’s word is clear: be still, and know.
Being still is not passive—it’s spiritual strength. It’s a declaration that you trust His power more than your own efforts. When you worship in the pause, you shift your focus from what’s missing to Who’s moving. Reflection in this space opens your eyes: maybe the wait isn’t punishment—it’s protection, preparation, and positioning.
Prayer
“Lord, teach me to be still in this season. When I am tempted to settle, remind me of Your power. Fill my waiting with worship and my silence with trust. I exalt You not only for what You will do, but for who You are right now. Amen.”
Reflection Prompt
Take 5 minutes with your journal:
Write down where you feel most restless right now.
Then answer: If I truly believed God was fighting for me here, what would my stillness look like?
