Bible Scripture
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV)
Devotional Thought
There is a rhythm to life that God has already set in motion. Just like autumn leaves must fall before spring blooms, some parts of our story have to close so new chapters can open. It’s not always easy to embrace change, but each season holds a blessing if we’re willing to lean into it.
Ask yourself: Am I trying to hold on to a season God has already closed? Or am I rushing ahead of one He has just begun?
Remember that seasons don’t come to harm us—they come to grow us. The pruning of winter makes way for the fruit of summer. The waiting of fall teaches us to prepare for what’s coming.
Reflection
What season am I in right now?
What is God teaching me through it?
Where am I resisting His timing?

Lord, help me to honor the season I’m in without fear or frustration. Teach me to trust Your timing, to rest in Your pruning, and to rejoice in Your harvest. Amen.
